A new Lincoln restaurant concept needed a site that made sauce the centerpiece — not a generic hospitality template, and not an Italian trattoria look. Guests had to understand the Wing Flight and Ying Yang pasta in seconds, then browse a focused menu, compare sauces, and see that jars would eventually go home with them.
Designed and built a multi-page Next.js restaurant site with a cacao / chile-oil / herb identity, CMS-shaped data for sauces, pairings, flights, and menu items, and a homepage that leads with the Flight and Ying Yang. Dedicated sauces, pantry, menu, about, contact, and careers pages keep the homepage as a teaser rather than a dump.
Next.js 16 App Router, TypeScript, Tailwind 4 design tokens, ShadCN-style UI, Framer Motion, and placeholder data shaped for a future Sanity CMS. Photo-led food gallery and menu cards (sauce pours, wings, split bowls) plus mascot illustrations — no trattoria stock.
A detailed breakdown of our systematic approach to delivering this AI transformation, including key milestones, deliverables, and how we overcame challenges.
Saucy Minks launched as a complete, distinctive restaurant site that makes sauce comparison the first thing a visitor understands — and sits clearly apart from Skewered in the same portfolio.
Reads as a sauce house, not an Italian restaurant or a dark izakaya
Ying Yang and the Wing Flight are the brand, not buried in a long menu
Pantry section sets up take-home jars without pretending checkout exists
Reusable hospitality patterns (filterable menu, local SEO, phone-first reserve) without cloning Skewered
“The site finally looks like the concept: compare sauces, pick a favorite, take it home later”
Second Lincoln restaurant site in the portfolio with a wholly different visual language
Sauce/pairing data model reusable for other food brands with a productized condiment line
Ready to swap placeholder data for Sanity when the kitchen lineup locks
Let's discuss how we can deliver measurable business impact for your organization.

“Saucy Minks is what happens when the dish is the design system. The Flight and the Ying Yang do the explaining — the rest of the site just gives people more sauces to try.”

A new yakitori restaurant in Lincoln needed a website that captured the warmth of an izakaya while being functional for modern diners — mobile menu browsing, easy contact, careers page, and strong local SEO to compete with established restaurants in the area.
View Case StudyA contract 3D printing shop in Phoenix needed a professional marketing presence that could also capture qualified leads. Prospective customers arrive with CAD files and specific requirements, so the site had to accept 3D file uploads, route the resulting leads into a CRM, and give the owner an admin panel to manage content — all without a fragile, hard-to-maintain stack.
